3B Impact works with leading universities and researchers to translate research into practice, and to maximise and measure their impact. Our clients include the University of Sheffield, Lancaster University and Newcastle University.
Projects have comprised working at the faculty and school level on impact strategies for the UK Research & Innovation’s (UKRI) Research Excellence Framework (the REF), and supporting individual academics and research units to develop, demonstrate and communicate pathways to impact including preparing REF case studies. REF outcomes are used to inform the allocation of around £2 billion per year of public funding for universities’ research.
