The UK Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC)
3B Impact was commissioned by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), the body responsible for safeguarding and enforcing equality and human rights law in Britain, to support the organisation in maximising its impact. Over six months 3B Impact worked closely with staff at all levels, from advising the CEO and Senior Management Team on strategy and governance, t the design of detailed tools and processes to improve project design, delivery and monitoring and evaluation.
3B’s work spanned two main projects.
- 3B worked closely with the CEO and the Senior Management Team reviewing the organisation’s governance, processes and ways of working so that strategic objectives could be translated more readily into real and tangible impact.
- The Strategy Team commissioned 3B Impact to review its approach to planning for impact and design a training course in best practice approaches to planning, monitoring and evaluating impact, to be rolled out across the organisation via ‘train the trainer’ sessions.
Our findings and recommendations were widely accepted and implemented.
